How to nominate
Nominations for the Awards closed on Friday 23rd April. The Virtual Awards Ceremony will be live streamed on Friday 21st May. Further details of the finalists will be published in the Powys County Times and on this website.
There are five categories of nomination. Please only nominate each person, group or business for one category only.
Volunteer Of The Year
For an individual who has volunteered their time to make an outstanding contribution to their community within the last year.
Young Person Of The Year
For a young person, aged 18 or under, who has volunteered their time to make an outstanding contribution to their community within the last year.
Key Worker Of The Year
For a key worker who has gone above and beyond in their role, making a real difference to individuals or groups within the community.
Community Group Of The Year
For a group of people within the community, working together, who have brought benefits to their community.
Business Of The Year
For a local business that has made an outstanding contribution to the area.
Judging & Awards Ceremony
Everyone who is nominated will receive a letter from Craig Williams MP recognising their contribution and thanking them.
Our panel of judges will decide on a winner for each category. Each winner will receive a trophy and prize. To learn more about our judges click here
The awards ceremony will be held virtually on 21st May 2021 with Craig Williams MP presenting the winners with their prizes. The ceremony will be live streamed.
